This past weekend our family spent a little time in Chinatown celebrating the new year. 2012 is the year of water dragon. The dragon is considered the luckiest zodiac sign.
The Dragon is also my zodiac sign and I was a little surprised to see some likeness. A dragon is a free-spirit,colorful, flamboyant and rather solitary at heart. They need exercise that soothes the mind like yoga. Their color preference is greenish-blue. They are hard workers but need to avoid jobs with routine. Enthusiastic parents but put off children later in life.
We celebrated with wonderful cuisine, lion dances, fireworks, face painting, and music!
