For the past few days I have been trying to figure out what my resolutions for 2012 will be. My Mom and I were discussing over our morning coffee what would be the best, and most successful resolutions for 2012. We thought three goals would be the ideal number that can still be attainable but not stressful.
For my first resolution I would like to make a picture a day. I saw a photo album on pinterest and thought this would be fun.
For my second goal I want to sew more. I have been so tired of buying clothes lately that in the first few washings they get holes in them. My little boy is a little on the shorter side and I am always rolling pants legs. I thought this was ridiculous...I can sew! The first step is to cut... yes cut my Banana Republic card! This is the only way I can attain my goal. I have some great inspirational sites for this adventure:
my friend Victoria's site : www.recycledrevamped.blogspot.com/
a teacher friend of mine, I love her patterns!:

you have to love Natalie Chanin's designs : http://www.alabamachanin.com/store/collection
a cute recycled t-shirt skirt:http://analogme.typepad.com/analog-me/2009/09/i-didnt-ever-think-my-old-tshirt-could-look-like-that.html#comment-6a00e3933608e288340128774cb0fa970c
And last but not least to be healthy. My inspiration for this is a class that my Mom and I are taking together. I have taken a class from Heather this past fall and it was wonderful, and it really taught me how to cook in different ways that I didn't even know about. I felt so good after the class and hope to continue this feeling throughout 2012, and on.
I can't wait for the class to begin.

Thank you for the mention, love! You have your fingers on some cool 2012 projects. I need to whip me up something like that wool jumper. 2012: the year of cozy and cute :)
